Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arizona Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alphonse Rosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa has a takedown stuffed.
Reed looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

and Reed counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rosa won't be happy with that.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Reed has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Rosa tries to clinch up.
Rosa throws a sloppy head kick and Reed moves out of range easily.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Reed just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rosa's brow.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rosa enables Reed to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rosa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rosa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Reed is nestled in close to Rosa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Reed seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rosa for as long as he can get away with.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That's time! Reed's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Reed closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rosa slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Reed postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rosa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reed, into his guard.

Rosa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Reed's head.

Reed tries to roll over but Rosa keeps him under control.
Reed has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reed connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Rosa some visible discomfort.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Rosa pushes Reed away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Reed gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Reed works to advance to full mount. Rosa defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Reed has hold of Rosa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rosa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reed, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
