Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Bam Bigelow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bam Bam Bigelow!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bigelow was well out of range. Poor timing from Anderson.
Anderson lands a lovely overhand right.
Anderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bigelow fails with a takedown attempt.
Bigelow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to avoid it but Bigelow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderson to the ground. Anderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A punch combination from Anderson misses.
Anderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Anderson misses with a wild combination.
Anderson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Anderson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bigelow fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Brandon Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bam Bam Bigelow.
Anderson connects with a body shot that sends Bigelow's belly button to the back.
A jab from Anderson finds it's way through Bigelow's defenses.
Anderson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bigelow.
Anderson throws a right and a left that Bigelow avoids nicely.
Brandon Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bigelow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bigelow.
Anderson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Bigelow counters with a nice double leg into side control. Anderson won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bigelow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bigelow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson is trying to buck Bigelow off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Anderson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Bigelow is working for a submission of some sort.
Bigelow stops Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bigelow wants to pass to mount but Anderson is defending the position.
Bigelow not doing much here.
Bigelow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anderson's head.
Bigelow tries to pass to full mount but Anderson defends it.
Bigelow is taking a breather. Anderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bigelow is working away from the top position though.

Bigelow is trying to work for a kimura but Anderson is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bigelow is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bigelow has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Anderson defend it? Bigelow steps over the head and cranks it - Anderson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bigelow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bam Bam Bigelow!
Bam Bam Bigelow really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Red Bills clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
