Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Melendez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Showhey Baba!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baba wants it to stay on the feet.
Showhey Baba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baba throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Melendez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Baba - the referee stops the clock and Melendez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Baba. Melendez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Baba - that will leave a mark!
Good exchange - Baba coming out on top.
It looks like Damien Melendez has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Baba keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Melendez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Baba.
Melendez is breathing heavily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Baba.
Jab from Baba.
Melendez walks forward, straight into a front kick from Baba.
Melendez has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Baba.
Baba connects with a leg kick. Melendez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Melendez tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Baba lets loose with a powerful body kick. Melendez will feel that in the morning.
Baba throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Melendez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Baba.
Baba throws a shot to the body.
Baba throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Baba - that will leave a mark!
Baba lands a big head kick that sends Melendez tumbling to the mat! Baba takes a step backwards and waves Melendez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Melendez tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Melendez will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Baba connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A nice leg kick lands there from Baba.
Baba feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Melendez sprawling to the canvas! Melendez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Baba finish him?!
Damien Melendez's cut is getting worse.
Showhey Baba is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Baba throws an overhand right that drops Melendez like a sack of potatoes! Baba dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
