The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith connects with a jab.
Smith clinches with his opponent.
Nordh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smith throws the left hand but Nordh avoids the punch easily.
Nordh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Nordh's shoulder, as Nordh tries to avoid the shot.
Smith moves into the clinch successfully.
Smith keeps control of Nordh as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Smith lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nordh backwards.
Nordh lands with a short shot to the head.
Nordh throws a head punch that misses.
Nordh blocks a body shot from Smith.
Nordh lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Nordh has a couple of punches blocked by Smith.
Nordh misses with the head strike.
Nordh tries a body shot but Smith blocks it.

Smith swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nordh misses with a punch on the inside.
Smith throws a head punch that misses.
Nordh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nordh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smith throws out the jab.
Nordh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Smith throws a predictable looking body shot
and Nordh counters with a nice leg kick.

Nordh lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Donovan Smith has been cut.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nordh lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Smith head around and knocks him out cold! Nordh hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
