The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen tries to clinch there but Maul circles away.
A cross from Maul lands.

It looks like Luan Nguyen has been cut.
Maul lands a lovely overhand right.
Nguyen is looking to clinch but Maul is avoiding it.
Maul avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Maul cracks Nguyen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nguyen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Maul finish him?

This has been an exciting period of action!

Maul shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Nguyen is on queer street and Maul is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
