Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Money's choice of entrance music: Momma Said Knock you out. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Black counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Money shoots and misses
and Black cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Money shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Black counters with a nice uppercut.
John Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Money.

Money looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Black has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Money has a hand on Black's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Black takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Black postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Money looks a forlorn figure.
Black landing strikes from the mount and Money is in trouble!
Money is trying desperately to improve position.
