Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haral Dir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Haral Dir!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Dir.
Power pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dir goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Power lands a body shot.
Dir throws an off balance right hand
and Dir takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dir throws a lazy head kick
and Power counters with a head kick. That will keep Dir thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Dir finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Power avoids the head kick by Dir.
Dir takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Power checks the leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Power.

Dir bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dir sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Power is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Dir misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Power struggling a bit here.
Power avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dir.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dir staying calm.
Power takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dir misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Dir scores with a couple of short elbows.
Dir working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Dir grinds an elbow into Power's temple.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Power seems a little lost for a moment, as Dir dominates the positioning.
Sloppy strikes there by Dir.
Dir scores with punches from side control.
Power taking punishment in the form of punches.
Dir scores with a couple of short elbows.
Dir cracks Power with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Power is rocked!
Dir throws a strike aimed at the side of Power's head but Power avoids it well.
Dir in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Oh Power is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dir creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Dir is chipping away with strikes.
Dir has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dir lands a strong strike to the head of Power. That's dazed him! Dir looking to finish here. Power is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Dir lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
