Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Beau Oxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Barrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oxer comes to the cage accompanied by Pretender - Foo fighters. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oxer scores with a body shot.
Barrera keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Oxer connects with a crisp jab.
Barrera throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Oxer on the side of the head.
Oxer needs to keep his hands up - Barrera had a free shot at his head there.
Oxer looks to land a left hand but Barrera moved out of range nicely.
Barrera lands a jab to the nose.
Oxer ducks right into an uppercut from Barrera.
Oxer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barrera manages to avoid it.
Oxer throws a hook but Barrera avoids it easily.

and Oxer counters with a nice uppercut.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Oxer!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters circle momentarily. Oxer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Barrera uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Oxer.
Oxer defending well as Barrera loads up on a big left hand.
Oxer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barrera was well out of range. Poor timing from Oxer.

and Barrera counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oxer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The crowd cheers as Oxer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Barrera doesn't seem phased though.

and Barrera counters with a nice uppercut.
Oxer moves away from the strike by Barrera.

Oxer takes one to the chin there.
Oxer thows a body shot but no joy.
Barrera shoots in but no luck this time.
Oxer lands a glancing blow to the side of Barrera's head.

Barrera has managed to clinch.
Oxer is trying to push Barrera away but Barrera has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Oxer gets through Barrera's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oxer has had enough of the clinch but Barrera keeps him there for the moment.
Barrera lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Oxer backwards.

Oxer is rocked!
Oxer is trying to break the clinch but Barrera is controlling him.
Oh Oxer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barrera prevents Oxer from breaking the clinch.

Barrera turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Barrera manages to end up in side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Barrera is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Oxer is trying to escape and Barrera transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Oxer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Barrera! Very nice indeed!
