The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam Bam takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bam Bam pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice defenses there by Bam Bam.

Bam Bam clinches up against the cage.
Bam Bam has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment.

Jackson breaks the clinch.
Jackson cracks Bam Bam with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jackson connects with a single shot there.
Bam Bam with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
