The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Samel looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Vileplume might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Vileplume has his feet on Samel's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Samel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Samel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Vileplume explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Samel wants to clinch up but Vileplume keeps it at a distance.

Vileplume feints and then cracks Samel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Samel down.
Vileplume looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Samel shoots for a takedown but Vileplume saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Samel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Vileplume throws a left that rocks Samel and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Vileplume dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Samel regain composure!
