Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yugi Kantana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bison Sagara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yugi Kantana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bison Sagara!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sagara closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sagara missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sagara in particular looking to stall.
Kantana wants to control but Sagara is keeping busy.
Sagara is controlling the pace.
Kantana tries to get to full guard but Sagara has control of the leg.
Sagara is taking a breather. Kantana says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bison Sagara wasn't active enough on the ground.

Sagara fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kantana to the ground. Sagara is now in Kantana's guard.

Sagara wants to control from the top but Kantana keeps moving.

Kantana is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sagara defends well.

Kantana escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sagara gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sagara really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kantana. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sagara is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Kantana keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sagara's head.

Kantana thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Sagara is kicking away at Kantana from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Kantana grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Sagara trying to push Kantana off... Sagara taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
