Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matt Barr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Payette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Payette 's choice of entrance music: Sick Puppies- Youre Going Down. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charles Payette !
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payette walks into a jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Payette misses with a few strikes there.
Barr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Payette swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Payette fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barr, pushing him back against the cage.
Barr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barr is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Payette is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Barr is trying to push Payette away but Payette has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Payette lands a nice knee to the body.
Barr is trying to force a seperation but Payette has the dominant position.
Payette goes for a takedown attempt but Barr pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Barr lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Charles Payette has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Payette slips a jab and a cross from Barr.
Matt Barr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barr misses with a combination
and Payette counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Payette fails with the takedown.
Matt Barr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Payette .

Payette darts in and clinches Barr up against the cage.
Barr tries to break free but Payette pushes him back against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Payette .
Payette jumps guard but Barr stands there with Payette around his waist. Payette gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Payette misses with a hook from the clinch.
Barr looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Payette trying to control the position but instead, Barr has worked for underhooks and has pushed Payette into the cage.
Payette fails to pull guard.

Payette breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Payette takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Barr swinging wildly here.
Nice uppercut lands for Barr. That snapped Payette 's head back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Barr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Barr connects with a single shot there.

Payette is rocked!
Barr throws a series of punches but Payette avoids them all with ease.
Payette is still on wobbly legs! Can Barr finish him?
Barr grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Payette takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Barr cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
