The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen throws a right hand that misses
and Ulyanov counters with a nice leg kick.
Allen throws a lazy right hand but Ulyanov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ulyanov checks the leg kick.
Allen throws a combination that misses
and Ulyanov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Barry Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen misses with a looping right.
Allen looks to throw the jab but Ulyanov is out of range.

Allen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Allen counters with an inside leg kick.

Allen connects with the punch.

Allen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Vladimir Ulyanov has been cut.
Allen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Allen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Allen misses with a hook
and Ulyanov counters with an outside leg kick.

Ulyanov could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Allen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
