The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fargloom wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fargloom swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Riley.
Riley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fargloom manages to avoid it.
Fargloom tries to clinch but Riley is having none of it.
Fargloom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Riley.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Fargloom will probably get the nod.

Riley scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fargloom doesn't seem bothered though.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fargloom.

Riley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fargloom did well to prevent Riley getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Riley connects with a nice short shot to Fargloom's temple.
Fargloom won't allow Riley to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riley stalling away here and it's allowed Fargloom to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fargloom is desperately trying to improve his position but Riley has a good base and remains in mount.

Riley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fargloom is rocked!

Oh Fargloom is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Riley loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Fargloom scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Riley land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Riley stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colt Riley!
After winning the bout, Colt Riley thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
