Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent has chosen Shoot To Thrill by AC/DC as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent shoots in but Carver avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Carver doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kent counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Carver!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Carver wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Kent trying to control but Carver is having none of it.
Carver is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

and Kent counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carver won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kent is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carver knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Carver pushes Kent away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kent gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Kent tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kent has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kent decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Carver shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kent sprawls well. Kent wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Carver gets slowly back to his feet.
