The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rogan is out of range and Li settles back down.
Li chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Li forces Rogan back against the cage and clinches.
Li keeps control of Rogan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rogan wants to break the clinch but can't.

Rogan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Li throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Li moves out of range as Rogan throws a body kick.
Rogan misses with a two punch combination.

Rogan throws a leg kick that is checked
and Li connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Li thumps Rogan with a low kick.
Rogan throws a head kick but Li moves out of range.
Rogan lands a right hook to the body.
Li lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rogan takes a step back to recover.
Rogan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Li throws a sloppy head kick and Rogan moves out of range easily.

and Li takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rogan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Li.

and Li counters with a good low kick that Rogan was not able to check.
Rogan wants to slow Li down by chopping away at his legs.
Li throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Rogan tries to bum rush Li with a series of wild strikes but Li uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Li turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rogan throws out a loose jab but Li uses good head movement to avoid it.

Li shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Li was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Li tries to control but Rogan wriggling away.

Li lands a heavy elbow.
Rogan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground.

Li throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rogan because Li loaded up on that one.
Rogan is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Li cracks Rogan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Li has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Poor strikes thrown by Li there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Rogan is trying to stand up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rogan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Li connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Li circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Rogan drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Li follows Rogan to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jia Le Li! Jia Le Li retains his light heavyweight title!
