Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshiteru Goto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doyle's entrance music is Deep Purple - Perfect Strangers. A fine choice. Yoshiteru Goto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doyle has closed the distance and engaged Goto in a clinch.
Goto unloads a knee to the mid-section. Doyle lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Goto looking to throw knees to the head but Doyle is blocking nicely.
Doyle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Goto walks away with a smile on his face. Doyle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Goto throws a body punch but Doyle moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Goto. That's going to slow Doyle down.
Doyle moves to clinch but Goto breaks away
and Goto counters with a stiff right hand.
Goto throws a sloppy head kick and Doyle moves out of range easily.

Doyle feints and as Goto raises his hands in defense, Doyle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Doyle missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Doyle lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Horrible takedown by Doyle or perhaps it was just good defense by Goto which made him look bad.
Doyle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Doyle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goto tries to avoid it but Doyle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goto to the ground. Goto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Doyle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Doyle takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Yoshiteru Goto seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Doyle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Doyle moves away from the strike by Goto.

Oh Doyle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Doyle walks straight into a right hand from Goto - that's dropped him! Goto jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Doyle from any more punishment! Doyle complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
