PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Doodle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doodle dodges the punch combination from Aldo.
Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doodle paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Doodle had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aldo defends it easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Jose Aldo will probably get the nod.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Doodle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Aldo - the referee stops the clock and Doodle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Aldo. Doodle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Doodle is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Aldo rather than just go for the knockout.

Doodle drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Doodle seems to have locked his on tight now - Aldo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Doodle, as he picks up the win!
