Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barry Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oishi Yoshio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes to the cage accompanied by Bang - By Barry Scott. Yoshio has chosen "Stronger" by Kanye West as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Barry Scott could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Oishi Yoshio's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Yoshio throws a quick inside leg kick.
Scott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yoshio as he avoids it easily.
Yoshio moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Scott shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Scott throws a poor cross that misses
and Yoshio counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Yoshio tries to score with a low kick but Scott moves his leg out of the way.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Yoshio enables Scott to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Yoshio manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Barry Scott.

After the fight, Barry Scott was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
