Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuudai Ryuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago comes into the arena with SuperBeast blaring out of the sound system. Ryuu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: High on Fire - Bastard Samurai. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ryuu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Drago throws out a loose jab but Ryuu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ryuu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drago moves in looking to clinch but Ryuu pushes him off.
Ryuu throws a chopping leg kick but Drago manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ryuu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Drago.

Drago misses with a series of wild punches.
Drago slips a straight right by Ryuu.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ryuu keeps the fight on the outside.
Ryuu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ryuu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ryuu swats away the attempt to clinch by Drago.
Drago throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ryuu counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Yuudai Ryuu seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Drago misses the jab.
Drago sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ryuu throws a leg kick which misses Drago's front leg but catches the back leg as Drago tries to avoid it.
Ryuu lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ryuu connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ivan Drago's cut is getting worse.
The fight stays on the outside here - Drago looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Drago throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ryuu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ryuu slips under a jab.
A jab lands there for Ryuu.
Drago takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Drago crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ryuu - the referee stops the clock and Drago gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ryuu. Drago manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Drago is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Ryuu's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Ryuu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Drago takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Drago is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Ryuu lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
