Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Narcaleptic Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zirry Swan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski comes into the arena with zzzzzzzz blaring out of the sound system. Swan has chosen Blame it on my ADD as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Narcaleptic Arlovski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zirry Swan!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Arlovski drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Swan keeping moving, preventing Arlovski from controlling successfully.
Arlovski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Swan is keeping the position for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're going to have a standup here because Narcaleptic Arlovski wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Swan looks to score with a jab to the body but Arlovski is just out of range.

Arlovski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Swan as he avoids it easily.
Swan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Arlovski works the jab nicely.
Arlovski lands a really nice looking cross but Swan seems unphased.

Swan throws a leg kick
and Arlovski counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Swan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Swan clobbers Arlovski with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Swan tries to land a leg kick but Arlovski saw it coming and moves away.
Arlovski lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Swan at a distance.

Swan throws the left hand but Arlovski avoids the punch easily.
Arlovski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Swan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Arlovski has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Arlovski and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Arlovski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Swan circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Narcaleptic Arlovski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Swan connects with a single shot there.
Arlovski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Arlovski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Arlovski lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Arlovski throws a head kick that misses.
Swan tries to bum rush Arlovski with a series of wild strikes but Arlovski uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A nice leg kick lands there from Swan.
A jab from Swan misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Arlovski fails to land with a series of punches.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Swan, right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arlovski throws a head kick but Swan moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Narcaleptic Arlovski will probably get the nod.
That's time! Arlovski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Arlovski moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Swan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Arlovski clobbers Swan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Swan feints and then cracks Arlovski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Arlovski down.

Swan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Arlovski, pushing him back against the cage.
Arlovski tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Arlovski throws a head punch that misses.

Swan prevents a body shot from Arlovski.
A right handed body shot lands from Arlovski.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Arlovski.
Arlovski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Swan just stands there and leans against the cage.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
The referee calls for Arlovski to work.
Swan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Arlovski stalling in the clinch but Swan improves position.

Swan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight stays on the outside here - Swan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zirry Swan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Narcaleptic Arlovski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arlovski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Arlovski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swan is desperately trying to improve his position but Arlovski has a good base and remains in mount.
Arlovski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Swan is looking to escape.
Swan wants to hold on but Arlovski pushes him away.
Swan is in all sorts of trouble here.
Arlovski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Arlovski pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Swan gets back to half guard.

Swan is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Arlovski has latched onto it... Big trouble! Arlovski pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Swan is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Arlovski!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Narcaleptic Arlovski!
During a confident post fight interview, Narcaleptic Arlovski thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
