Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barry Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen Arctic Monkeys - Leave Before The Lights Come On as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Barry Washington had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts tries to clinch up.
Washington tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Roberts is able to avoid easily.
Washington looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Roberts looks for a takedown but Washington sprawls well.
Washington fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fight stays on the outside here - Roberts looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Roberts cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Roberts has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Roberts postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Washington in real trouble here! The ref calls for Washington to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
