Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Kawasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taisto Einar Magnusson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnusson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kawasaki avoids it really well and circles away.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kawasaki.

Kawasaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kawasaki thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Magnusson is defending against the submission attempts here by Kawasaki.

Magnusson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kawasaki is aware though and is defending well.

Kawasaki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kawasaki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Magnusson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kawasaki is one step ahead there.
Magnusson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kawasaki manages to get himself to full guard.
Magnusson throws a strike but Kawasaki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kawasaki is sitting in close to Magnusson's body. Magnusson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kawasaki is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kawasaki is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Magnusson.

Taisto Einar Magnusson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Outkast Clothing Line logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
