Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrique Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobar comes to the ring accompanied by Dr. Kitch. Mendez has chosen Juno Reactor - Pistolero as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Escobar shoots in looking for a takedown. Mendez tries to sprawl out of it but Escobar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Mendez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Escobar ducks under a wild hook from Mendez.
Escobar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mendez tries to avoid it but Escobar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mendez to the ground. Mendez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Escobar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Mendez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Escobar. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Escobar might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Escobar is looking to wear down Mendez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Horrible takedown by Escobar or perhaps it was just good defense by Mendez which made him look bad.

Escobar looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Some bone on bone action there as Mendez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Escobar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Mendez sends Escobar crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mendez is motioning to the referee to let Escobar up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Mendez pounces like a tiger and cracks Escobar with a vicious hook! Escobar is down but not out! Mendez follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
