Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Knocke Bensmock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Headden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Knocke Bensmock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Headden!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bensmock looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Bensmock gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Headden to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bensmock looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bensmock utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bensmock keeping moving, preventing Headden from controlling successfully.

Headden drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bensmock dives on top into guard.

Bensmock gets to his feet - Headden follows without any prompting.
Bensmock misses with an uppercut. Headden saw that one coming.
Headden fails with a takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Headden uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bensmock.
Headden takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Headden looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bensmock is fending him off so far but Headden persists. Nope, Bensmock circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab lands there for Bensmock.
Headden checks a leg kick nicely.
Bensmock misses with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Headden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Horrible takedown by Headden or perhaps it was just good defense by Bensmock which made him look bad.
Knocke Bensmock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Headden.
Bensmock lands a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bensmock fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Headden is out of range.
Bensmock dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Some wild striking there from Headden.
Headden lands a jab-cross combination.
Bensmock comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bensmock fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Headden on the side of the head.
Headden closes the distance and clinches up with Bensmock, looking for a takedown. Headden pushes Bensmock against the cage but Bensmock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheers as Bensmock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Headden doesn't seem phased though.
Knocke Bensmock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bensmock displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Headden throws out the jab.
A punch combination from Headden misses.
Bensmock throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Bensmock stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bensmock wants it to stay on the feet.
Headden bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bensmock bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Headden's head.

Headden is rocked!
Bensmock lands a body shot.
Headden is still on wobbly legs! Can Bensmock finish him?
Headden looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bensmock jabs Headden to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bensmock lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Headden up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Bensmock from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Headden's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Knocke Bensmock!
