Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Bhuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sloat Gresham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gresham is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gresham wants to clinch.
Bhuda slaps away a takedown attempt from Gresham, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gresham fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gresham tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bhuda misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gresham moves into the clinch.

Gresham doesn't manage to clinch there - Bhuda circles away.
Sammy Bhuda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sloat Gresham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bhuda counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Gresham tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bhuda swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A slow jab from Bhuda misses its intended target.

Gresham closes the distance and pushes Bhuda back into the cage.
Bhuda can't break the clinch.
Bhuda tries to break the clinch but Gresham is controlling the position.

Gresham has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bhuda uses from the top position.

Gresham has his foot on Bhuda's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bhuda works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bhuda decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gresham, up you get!

Gresham feints and as Bhuda raises his hands in defense, Gresham changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gresham's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Bhuda is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gresham is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gresham thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bhuda has his feet on Gresham's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Gresham shoots in for a takedown but Bhuda shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Bhuda counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sloat Gresham will probably get the nod.

Bhuda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bhuda scores with a jab. Gresham acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gresham tries to clinch up but Bhuda circles away and keeps his distance.

and Bhuda counters with a head kick. That will keep Gresham thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gresham is defended easily by Bhuda.

and Bhuda counters with a crisp right that sends Gresham to the canvas! Bhuda follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
