Nagiev comes to the cage accompanied by Dmitry Nagiev - All I Promised. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagiev throws a sloppy head kick
and Ballswick counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nagiev thinking.
Ballswick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ballswick takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nagiev pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ballswick moves into the clinch.
Ballswick keeps control of Nagiev as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Nagiev is looking to break free of the clinch but Ballswick has double underhooks.
Ballswick lands with a light punch inside.
Nagiev keeps control of Ballswick as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ballswick tries to score a body lock takedown but Nagiev shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Ballswick manages to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ballswick is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Nagiev stands up from Ballswick's guard - Nagiev perhaps looking for a knockout.

Ballswick dives in and scores a takedown into Nagiev's guard.

Ballswick looking to improve position, pressing down on Nagiev's thigh with his hand. Nagiev seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Ballswick paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Ballswick's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Nagiev picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
