The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantola checks the leg kick.
Kantola scores with a one two! St Pierre had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kantola looks to score with a jab to the body but St Pierre is just out of range.
Kantola throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Some bone on bone action there as Kantola checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

St Pierre lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Kantola looks to land a body kick but St Pierre moved away.
Kantola throws an off balance right hand
and St Pierre counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kantola's knee momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kantola. St Pierre does a little dance to reset his feet.
St Pierre misses with a leg kick
and Kantola counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kantola blocks a low kick nicely.
St Pierre pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kantola is out of range and St Pierre settles back down.
Kantola scores with a jab to the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
St Pierre lands a nice looking body shot.
St Pierre moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kantola forces St Pierre back against the cage and clinches.
Kantola lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kantola jumps into guard, dragging St Pierre to the mat.
Kantola pushes a forearm under St Pierre's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, St Pierre is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
