The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mondello avoids the head kick by Bryant.

Mondello closes the distance and clinches.
Bryant jumps guard but Mondello turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Mondello keeps control of Bryant as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mondello cracks Bryant with a nice body shot.

Bryant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mondello swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bryant has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mondello is working away from the top position though.

Tiny Mondello showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bryant takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Mondello lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Oh Bryant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice left hand lands by Mondello.
Mondello lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bryant backwards.
Mondello pushes Bryant back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Mondello has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
