Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Gaeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santiago comes into the arena with Hit A Muthafucka blaring out of the sound system. Gaeta has chosen B.Y.O.B. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago throws a series of punches but Gaeta avoids them all with ease.
Santiago connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gaeta rushes Santiago and presses him up against the cage.
Santiago has had enough of the clinch but Gaeta keeps him there for the moment.
Santiago tries to stall but Gaeta uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gaeta drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Santiago prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gaeta has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Santiago is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Santiago wants to stand up but Gaeta has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Santiago wants to pass to mount but Gaeta is defending the position.

Gaeta is trying to trip Santiago. He has hold of a leg but Santiago is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gaeta persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Gaeta slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Santiago is trying to control Gaeta's posture but Gaeta avoids it.

Gaeta decides to stand up, so the ref orders Santiago to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Santiago is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gaeta.
Gaeta avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Isaac Santiago is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gaeta has Santiago pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gaeta pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Santiago tumbling to the mat - Gaeta dives into Santiago's guard.
Gaeta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gaeta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Santiago not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Santiago uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Gaeta changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Santiago tries to avoid it but Gaeta manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Santiago to the ground. Santiago escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Isaac Santiago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gaeta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Santiago sprawls well initially but Gaeta persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gaeta darts in and clinches Santiago up against the cage.

Santiago wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gaeta has him pressed against the cage.
