Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicholas Brody!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, QQ Moore!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brody misses the jab.
Moore throws a right hand that Brody ducks under and follows up with a left that Brody also avoids with ease.
Brody misses with a shot to the body
and Moore counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Moore steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brody.
Moore pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Brody fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moore manages to avoid it.
Brody moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Brody connects with a single shot there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moore throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A punch combination from Moore misses.
Brody scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Brody throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Moore scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Moore is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brody.
Moore tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brody throws out the jab.
Nice defenses there by Moore.
Moore shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Brody eats them both and turns towards Moore to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Nicholas Brody has been cut.
Brody swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Moore avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brody uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Moore has time to react.
Brody throws a hook but Moore avoids it easily.
Moore lands a big head kick that sends Brody tumbling to the mat! Moore takes a step backwards and waves Brody back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Brody is rocked!
Moore closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Brody out cold! Brody corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). QQ Moore!
QQ Moore is the new super heavyweight champion!
QQ Moore decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
