Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Gotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gotch's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Can't be touched. Howard has chosen Immortality by Pearl Jam as his entrance music. Dwayne Howard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard lands a jab to the nose.
Howard misses with a low kick.
Gotch shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Howard defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gotch.
Howard dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Frank Gotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howard sizes up Gotch with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Gotch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Howard as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Gotch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Howard darts in and clinches Gotch up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gotch breaks the clinch.
Gotch throws the left hand but Howard avoids the punch easily.

Howard throws a jab when Gotch was well out of range.
Howard lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gotch fails with a takedown attempt.

Howard ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dwayne Howard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gotch fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gotch shoots and misses
and Howard counters with a nice kick to the body.
Gotch is breathing heavily.
Howard scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Frank Gotch has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Howard cracks Gotch with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gotch tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Howard pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gotch is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dwayne Howard!
