The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baine shoots in but Westbrook avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Westbrook just misses with a punch to the body.
Westbrook cracks Baine with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nice uppercut lands for Westbrook. That snapped Baine's head back.

Baine closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Westbrook's guard.

Baine is pushing down on Westbrook's leg trying to pass to half guard. Westbrook is fighting to maintain full guard but Baine has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Baine is looking to take a break and control but Westbrook is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Baine is looking for a kimura but Westbrook is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Baine to get the leverage.

Westbrook is staying active underneath Baine, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Matthew Baine made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I am the greatest submission fighter this company has ever seen. I know i've lost a couple in a row and the road to the title will tough but i will be a champion i will avenge my loss to Billy Rose'.
