Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Offerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Offerson has chosen Can't F with da South as his entrance music. Ryan Belcher has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Offerson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belcher throws a sloppy head kick and Offerson moves out of range easily.
Belcher has his takedown stuffed

and Offerson counters with a single leg into guard. Belcher didn't expect that.

Belcher is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Offerson defends well.

Offerson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Offerson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Belcher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Offerson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Offerson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Belcher can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Offerson controls the pace.

Offerson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Belcher is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Offerson, into his guard.

Offerson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Offerson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Belcher tries to avoid it but Offerson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Belcher to the ground. Belcher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Belcher will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Offerson up against the cage.

Offerson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Belcher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Offerson is looking to take a break and control but Belcher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Belcher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Offerson on the ground.

Jack Offerson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
