Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christiano Smokeleaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naksuttava Puimakone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smokeleaf's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Clawfinger Biggest & the Best. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puimakone misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smokeleaf.
Puimakone misses with a jab to the body
and Puimakone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Puimakone gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Smokeleaf cracks Puimakone with a right hand to the side of the head.
Smokeleaf fails with an attempt to clinch.
Puimakone misses with a double jab.
Puimakone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smokeleaf paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A telegraphed right hand from Puimakone misses the target.
Puimakone tries to bum rush Smokeleaf with a series of wild strikes but Smokeleaf uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Smokeleaf looks for a takedown but Puimakone sprawls well.
Puimakone moves to clinch but Smokeleaf breaks away
and Smokeleaf makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Puimakone tries to clinch but Smokeleaf moves out of range.
Smokeleaf fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Puimakone manages to avoid it.

and Smokeleaf counters with a nice double leg into side control. Puimakone won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Smokeleaf lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Puimakone down.

Smokeleaf looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Smokeleaf sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Puimakone is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Puimakone regains half guard there - taking advantage of Smokeleaf's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Smokeleaf seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Puimakone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Puimakone wants to improve his position but Smokeleaf is controlling well.
Smokeleaf uses his free foot to push down on Puimakone's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Puimakone.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puimakone is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
