The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock on the wrong end of a nice hook.
An inside leg kick from Rock misses.
Brown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rock doesn't seem bothered though.
Rock takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rock.

Lance Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rock moves into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rock has had enough of the clinch but Brown keeps him there for the moment.

Rock scores with a nice hook to the head.

Brown lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away.
Roy Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Rock.
Rock rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brown counters with a nice body shot.

Rock takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rock is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
Rock walks straight into a right hand from Brown - that's dropped him! Brown jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rock from any more punishment! Rock complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
