Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Geissen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Richards.
Richards takes a swing at Geissen's ribcage but misses.
Richards slips a straight right by Geissen.
Geissen throws a hook but Richards blocks it.
Richards scores with a leg kick.
Richards bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Geissen misses the jab.
Geissen scores with a nice strike.

Richards forces Geissen back against the cage and clinches.
Geissen tries to break free but Richards pushes him back against the cage.
Richards throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Geissens head.

Richards has Geissen pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Richards pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Geissen tumbling to the mat - Richards dives into Geissen's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

A lazy left from Richards finds it's target.

Richards has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Geissen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Richards is stalling here. Geissen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Richards seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Geissen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Richards sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Richards has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Geissen. Oh but Richards has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Geissen goes limp - he's gone! Richards jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
