Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Lamonier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcio Morte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamonier's entrance music is Pantera - Five Minutes Alone. A fine choice. Marcio Morte has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morte gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lamonier is looking to break free of the clinch but Morte has double underhooks.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Morte takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Morte manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Lamonier stands up and waves to Morte to follow him.
Morte moves out of range of the strikes.
Lamonier lands a left and a right that sends Morte crashing to the canvas! Lamonier dives into mount looking to finish!

Morte wants to control but Lamonier is having none of it.

Lamonier stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Morte looks for a takedown but Lamonier sprawls well.
Lamonier tests Morte's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Morte tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lamonier swats him away and circles back towards the center.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Marcio Morte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morte changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lamonier tries to avoid it but Morte manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lamonier to the ground. Lamonier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Morte closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Oh Lamonier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick by Morte - that's a beauty! Lamonier is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Morte can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
