Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaarlo Volkano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doomsday Drost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volkano's entrance music is Graveyard - Hisingen Blues. A fine choice. Drost has chosen Kilpi - Sielut Iskee Tulta as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drost lands a jab-cross combination.
Drost looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Volkano lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Volkano moves out of range as Drost strikes.
Drost pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Volkano fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Volkano will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looks like Doomsday Drost has been cut.

Volkano winds up and cracks Drost with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Volkano seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Drost does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Volkano connects with a nice short shot to Drost's temple.

The cut above Doomsday Drost's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Drost moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Drost wants to sweep but no luck.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Drost is on top in guard.
Volkano pulls Drost in close to his closed guard and prevents Drost from doing any damage or advancing position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Drost accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Volkano holds on and takes a little breather.

Doomsday Drost's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Doomsday Drost's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
