Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baum comes to the cage accompanied by Reign of Fire. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sandoval but Sandoval pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Baum closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sandoval did well to prevent Baum getting side control.

Baum is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sandoval defends it well.

Baum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Baum is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sandoval sees it coming and defends easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Baum is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sandoval is just riding it out for now. Baum eventually gives up the hold.

Baum tries to clinch up but Sandoval circles away and keeps his distance.
