Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lonkar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ruck but Ruck pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lonkar fails to land the takedown.
Ruck fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lonkar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lonkar drives through and clinches with Ruck against the cage.
Ruck drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lonkar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Carter Ruck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lonkar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Lonkar decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Lonkar shoots for a takedown but Ruck saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Lonkar . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ruck tries to clinch

and Lonkar counters with a single leg into guard. Ruck didn't expect that.
Ruck looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Lonkar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ruck's head.
Ruck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lonkar . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lonkar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lonkar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Lonkar gets to his feet. Ruck looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Ruck lands a nice shot that snaps Lonkar 's head back.

Lonkar moves into range and clinches up with Ruck.
Lonkar has a couple of punches blocked by Ruck.
Ruck prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lonkar has Ruck pressed against the cage.
Lonkar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ruck gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lonkar has Ruck pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ruck manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ruck fails to pull guard.
Ruck tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lonkar smiles and moves away.
Ruck lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lonkar at a distance.

Ruck stuffs the takedown attempt from Lonkar . Lonkar gets slowly back to his feet.
Ruck tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Lonkar counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ruck is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lonkar pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lonkar lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Ruck avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lonkar .
Lonkar is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ruck!

Lonkar wants to finish this one by submission but Ruck is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lonkar .
Ruck wants to try and get back to his feet.

Lonkar loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ruck scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Lonkar land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Lonkar stands and salutes the crowd.
