The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Parker cracks a nice hook into Erikson's ribs.
Parker takes a swing at Erikson's ribcage but misses.
Erikson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parker is fending him off so far but Erikson persists. Nope, Parker circles away and we're back to standing.
Parker misses with a left hand

so Erikson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Erikson trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Parker tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Enos Erikson.
Parker throws a shot from downtown. Erikson moves away and avoids it.
Parker misses with a wild body shot.
Parker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Erikson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Parker is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Erikson rather than just go for the knockout.
Parker misses with a hook.
Parker lands with a nice body punch.
Parker scores with a jab to the jaw.

It looks like Enos Erikson has been cut.
Parker moves into range and connects with a jab.
Erikson slips a jab from Parker.
Parker digs a good body shot into Erikson's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parker wants it to stay on the feet.

Erikson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Parker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Parker stuns Erikson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Erikson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Erikson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Parker makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enos Erikson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Erikson is breathing heavily.
Parker connects with a body shot that sends Erikson's belly button to the back.
Parker misses with a body shot.
Parker just misses with a punch to the body.
Parker throws a shot from downtown. Erikson moves away and avoids it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Parker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Parker works over Erikson's head and body with a nice combination.

Erikson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Parker scores with a jab. Erikson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Oh Erikson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Frank Parker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Enos Erikson's cut is getting worse.
Erikson tries for a takedown but Parker circles away easily
and Parker scores with a counter punch that sends Erikson to the canvas! Parker smells blood - he's punishing Erikson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Erikson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
