Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Issac Oliver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Skinner!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliver darts in and clinches Skinner up against the cage.

Oliver pulls Skinner into guard.

Skinner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oliver closes this distance looking for a takedown but Skinner circles away.

Skinner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oliver.
Oliver shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skinner as he jumps to the side.

Skinner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Oliver closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Skinner quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skinner tries to roll over but Oliver keeps him under control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Skinner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Oliver is working away from the top position though.
Oliver is keen to just control but Skinner is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Skinner is working for a kimura but Oliver is defending it quite comfortably.
Issac Oliver overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Skinner is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Oliver defends it well.

Skinner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Oliver is just riding it out for now. Skinner eventually gives up the hold.

Oliver regains full guard. Nicely done.
Skinner stands and throws Oliver's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Oliver can't do much from the bottom here.
Oliver tries to buck Skinner off but Skinner is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Skinner goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Oliver rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Skinner's guard! Nice work there by Oliver!

Oliver drops back, looking for a kneebar! Skinner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Skinner looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Skinner!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Skinner is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Skinner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Oliver walks away with a smile on his face. Skinner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skinner is looking to take a break and control but Oliver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Oliver gets back to half guard.
Oliver makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Oliver.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Skinner stands up over Oliver, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dan Skinner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Oliver has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
