And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vasiliy Sobolev!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mctwist fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sobolev manages to avoid it.
Mctwist fails to land with a series of punches.
Mctwist throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sobolev shoots in for a takedown but Mctwist shows good takedown defense.
Mctwist looks to land a combination but Sobolev avoids it well.
Sobolev gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mctwist to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Sobolev can't keep his opponent in guard - Mctwist advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mctwist wants to take a breather but Sobolev is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mctwist prevents Sobolev from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mctwist throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sobolev blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mctwist.

Mctwist sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sobolev defending well though.
Mctwist thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sobolev is trying to stand back up but Mctwist is controlling him

Mctwist is looking to take a break and control but Sobolev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mctwist frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Mctwist misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Mctwist thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Mctwist lands a nice shot to the head.
It looks like Vasiliy Sobolev has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mctwist thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Mctwist lands a big shot there that rocks Sobolev but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Mctwist is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sobolev can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That has opened up Vasiliy Sobolev's cut even more.

Vasiliy Sobolev's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vasiliy Sobolev's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
