Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hari Krishna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Slobovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krishna comes to the cage accompanied by Flaw - Whole. On his way into the cage it seems that Hari Krishna has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hari Krishna seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slobovic has his takedown stuffed
and Krishna counters with a one-two to the body.
Krishna rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slobovic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Slobovic tries for a takedown but Krishna sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Igor Slobovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hari Krishna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Slobovic.

Krishna kicks Slobovic off and gets back to his feet.
Slobovic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krishna as he jumps to the side.

Krishna gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Slobovic turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Slobovic manages to end up in side control.

Slobovic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Krishna is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Slobovic throws an elbow that misses. Krishna uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Slobovic's guard. Nice move by Krishna!

Slobovic is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Krishna pulls his head out easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slobovic can do anything to dispel that myth.

Krishna checks a leg kick nicely.
Slobovic looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Krishna counters with a series of strikes. Slobovic will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nice uppercut lands for Krishna. That snapped Slobovic's head back.

Krishna scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Krishna shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Krishna stands up and beckons Slobovic to join him on the feet.
Krishna fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Krishna dives in and scores a takedown into Slobovic's guard.

Slobovic is looking for a triangle but Krishna pushes his legs off easily.

Krishna decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Slobovic, up you get!
Krishna throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Krishna closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Krishna lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slobovic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

and Krishna counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Krishna lands a left and a right that send Slobovic crashing to the mat, dazed. Krishna thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krishna digs a good body shot into Slobovic's ribs.
Krishna connects with a combination that backs up Slobovic into the cage. Krishna lands a flurry of punches that gets past Slobovic's guard. Slobovic is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Krishna bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

A relieved looking Hari Krishna thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
