Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Great might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Adiemus. Montoya has chosen Roy Jones - Can't be touched as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya fails with the takedown.
Great throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Great moves into the clinch.
Great fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Great pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Great rushes Montoya and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Great trying to stall but Montoya improves his position.
Great lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Great stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Great softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.

Great's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Montoya avoids the body shot from Great.
John Montoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Great takes the fight into the clinch.

Montoya is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Great tries a body shot but Montoya blocks it.
Great lands a left hand.
Montoya is trying to push Great away but Great has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Montoya escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Montoya shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Great sprawls well. Great wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Montoya gets slowly back to his feet.
Montoya changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Great tries to avoid it but Montoya manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Great to the ground. Great escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alexander Great has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Montoya.

and Great counters with a body kick.
Great wants to clinch
and Montoya decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Great's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Montoya wants to control from the top but Great keeps moving.
Great has his hands on Montoya's head, controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by John Montoya.
Montoya fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Great avoids it really well and circles away.

Great fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Montoya checks it well.
Great slaps away a takedown attempt from Montoya, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Great pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown by Montoya or perhaps it was just good defense by Great which made him look bad.
Great lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Great moves into range and clinches up with Montoya.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Great takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Montoya breaks from the clinch.
Great lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Montoya misses with a takedown attempt - Great sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice right hand lands inside from Great.
Great lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Montoya or not.
Great lands a hook that snaps the head of Montoya backwards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Great swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Great looking to slow down the pace here.
Great misses with a punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Great dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Great counters with a head kick that wobbles Montoya - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Great sends him down. This one is all over!

Alexander Great really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Skin-Clothes Designing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
