Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Bing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Parise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Bing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Zach Parise!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bing fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Parise has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Parise moves out of range of the body kick from Bing.
Bing bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bing lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Parise moves out of range of the leg kick from Bing.
Parise tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bing was well out of range. Poor timing from Parise.
Parise uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bing.
Bing pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Parise misses with a hook

and Bing counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bing.
Bing creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Parise's defenses.


It looks like Zach Parise has been cut.
Parise fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Parise's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bing has closed the distance and engaged Parise in a clinch.
Parise is looking to break free of the clinch but Bing has double underhooks.
Bing dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Bing tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Parise's elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bing misses with an elbow over the top.

Bing prevents Parise from breaking the clinch.
Bing misses with a punch on the inside.
Bing pushes off an throws an elbow but Parise leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Bing lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Bing wants to stall.
Parise wants to break free but Bing has control.
A short body shot lands from Bing as the two fighters clinch.
Bing keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Parise's efforts to push away.
A frustrated look appears on Parise's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bing is stalling here.
Bing creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Parise's defenses.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bing.
Parise is trying to break the clinch but Bing has him pressed against the cage.
Bing tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bing is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bing lands with a short shot to the head.
Bing using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Bing creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Parise's defenses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Parise is looking to break free of the clinch but Bing has double underhooks.
Bing lands a knee to the body.

Parise escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bing avoids a punch combination nicely.
Parise throws a head kick that misses.
Parise misses with an uppercut
and Bing counters with a low kick, right behind Parise 's knee.
Parise throws a series of punches but Bing avoids them all with ease.
Bing slips a jab and a cross from Parise.
Zach Parise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bing darts in and clinches Parise up against the cage.
Bing connects with a knee to the head.


Parise is rocked!


That has opened up Zach Parise's cut even more.
Bing jerks Parise's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Parise drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Bing goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Bing because Parise was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Eric Bing!
