Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perseus Poseidon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthmael HardStyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poseidon's entrance music is let the bodies hit the floor. A fine choice. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HardStyle misses with a takedown attempt - Poseidon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Poseidon shoots in looking for a takedown. HardStyle tries to sprawl out of it but Poseidon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. HardStyle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

HardStyle motions for Poseidon to come forward. HardStyle throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Poseidon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. HardStyle tries to avoid it but Poseidon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag HardStyle to the ground. HardStyle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Perseus Poseidon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Poseidon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so HardStyle is just riding it out for now. Poseidon eventually gives up the hold.

HardStyle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Poseidon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
