Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Petor Druskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petor Druskin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Petor Druskin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Pain!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Druskin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pain sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pain misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Druskin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pain avoids it really well and circles away.

and Druskin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pain won't be happy with that.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pain is not content to let Druskin control the position.

Druskin tries for a kimura but Pain is defending well.
Pain is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Druskin off and has taken his back!
Pain doesn't have the hooks in and Druskin manages to turn into his guard.
Pain is adopting a defensive guard.

Druskin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pain is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Druskin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pain is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pain has escaped and now he's on top!
Pain sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Druskin's guard.
Pain wants to take a breather but Druskin is having none of it.

Pain thows a huge punch but Druskin dodges it nicely.
Pain working over Druskin with some ground and pound. Druskin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Druskin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Druskin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pain postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pain tries to free his leg and advance position but Druskin is retaining full guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pain lands a nice short elbow.

Pain slips a nice elbow through Druskin's hands, connecting with Druskin's forehead.

Druskin has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Pain escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Pain!
You can see the frustration on Druskin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

James Pain dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

No luck for Druskin with that takedown attempt.
Pain shoots in for a takedown but Druskin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Druskin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pain as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petor Druskin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pain fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Pain wants to control but Druskin is keeping busy.

Pain is doing well to control the position and prevent Druskin from advancing to side control.
Pain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Druskin is thwarting Pain's attempts to control the position.
Druskin is trying to control. Pain wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Druskin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Druskin's back!
Pain has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Druskin's body.

Pain keeps control of the position as Druskin tries to break free.
Druskin is trying to remain composed but Pain is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Druskin turns into Pain and is now in his guard.
Druskin stopping the sweep attempt from Pain.

Let's hope that Pain has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Druskin wants to control from the top but Pain keeps moving.

Pain has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Petor Druskin has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Druskin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Druskin but Druskin pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pain drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Pain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Druskin keeps working.

James Pain has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pain with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Druskin is staying active underneath Pain, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Pain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Druskin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pain doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Druskin.

Pain tries to roll over but Druskin keeps him under control.

Pain tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pain is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Pain keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Pain passes to side control.
Pain lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Pain laying and praying for a moment but Druskin takes advantage and regains half guard.

Pain takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Druskin is staying active underneath Pain, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pain loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Druskin scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Pain land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Pain stands and salutes the crowd.
