The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Van Elleboghen shoots in and gets a takedown into Cruz's guard.

Van Elleboghen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cruz eats them both and turns towards Van Elleboghen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Van Elleboghen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cruz was covering up waiting for the punch and Van Elleboghen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bart Van Elleboghen was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Van Elleboghen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Cruz is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Van Elleboghen to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Van Elleboghen shrugs it off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Trey Cruz.
Well Van Elleboghen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
